A housebuilder has donated hundreds of pounds in appliances to help domestic abuse survivors rebuild their lives.
Cala Homes Thames donated £750 worth of kitchen appliances to Berkshire Women’s Aid (BWA) to support a family as they settled into a new home after leaving refuge.
The appliances, including a Bosch oven, dishwasher and cooker hood, were delivered to an unfurnished home and will help a mother of two build a new beginning.
Alix Simpson, CEO of BWA, said: “Cala kindly donated kitchen appliances to us, which we were able to pass on directly to a survivor transitioning into local council accommodation.
