Outreach Support for Survivors of Domestic Abuse

At BWA, we support survivors of all genders through our experienced Outreach Workers and Independent Domestic Violence Advocates (IDVAs). They offer compassionate and practical support —all based in the community.

What We Offer

Our support is:

  • Tailored to your needs – we’ll work with you to create a personalised safety and support plan.

  • Rooted in safety – we carry out a full risk assessment to ensure you’re safe and supported.

  • Flexible – the length of support depends on when your practical needs are met.

Support includes:

  • Practical help with key aspects of your daily life

  • Information and advice on issues affecting your safety and wellbeing

Once your immediate needs are met, we can help you continue your journey with:

  • BWA’s group support programmes

  • Referrals to external services, such as counselling or wellbeing support

How We Can Help

  • Housing, refuge spaces, and home security
